The edition is free and stays free. Nothing is paywalled, nothing phones home, and there is no version of this you have to pay for. If you want to give something anyway, here are the ways, roughly in the order we would rank them.

It is free to help
None of this costs anything, and all of it is genuinely more useful to the project than money would be.
Report what breaks
Run revert report and it gathers your distro, your GPU and driver, and the tail of the last launch into one file to attach. It is the only way the odd hardware combination ever gets fixed.

Everything we wrote is open. The controller support for Bazzite and other OSTree distros came in as a pull request from someone who hit the problem themselves.
Star the repos
It costs nothing and it is how anyone else finds the project at all.
Tell one person
Someone out there still has their disc in a drawer and does not know this exists.

The Skatepark Project
Tony Hawk's 501(c)(3) nonprofit, building public skateparks in underserved communities.
The edition points at them in-game too, under MOD OPTIONS, because a game about skating owes something to the people building places to skate. Donations go straight to them. We never touch the money and take no cut.
